Criminal Investigations 10th edition Changes, Part 4

In Criminal Investigations, 10th edition there is a new section on Internet crimes against children. They lend themselves easily to being questions such as “which of the following age groups are most exposed to online solicitations?” or “which of the following is the best tool for protect children from internet crime”.

Federal programs developed to combat specific problems also provide good multiple choice questions as there are so many federal programs that its easy for a test writer to pick 3 others from within the text or make up 3 other similiar sounding ones for the incorrect answers.

An excerpt from our outline:

Internet crimes against children – new
most of the youth exposed to online solicitations were girls between the ages of 14 and 17.
The Internet crimes against children task force program was developed in response to these issues and provides resources to local and state law enforcement agencies to enhance their investigative response to offenders who use the Internet, online communication systems, or other computer technology to sexually exploit children.

The best tool to protect children from Internet crime is parental education and involvement.

There are less than two months left before the exam. Use the time wisely, listen to notes while on the treadmill or mowing the lawn. Maximize your available time.
